About Me

I like to learn (or at least tell myself that). Oberlin was hard. A lot of studying but also fun. During my time at Oberlin, I was busy trying to have a social life while studying enough. Ill remember my time at the Fencing Club, meeting great people and making great memories fencing at fencing tournaments. I was a bit anxious throughout the college, worrying about grades and the graduation plans. Still, in the end, I treasure the memories of those unproductive and unplanned late midnight chats with friends at Mudd or dorms rather than the exam materials.

Campus Jobs

Philips Gym Staff

Favorite Place

Mudd. Lot of actual studying was done there, but also the fun "studying" and chatting moments.

Favorite Class

Chinese 101-102. The class wasn't related to my majors or minors. Very caring teachers, and I felt relieved to learn something I want instead of completing a major.

Notable Quote

"The more you suffer, the stronger you get." I said it randomly when someone was complaining about his work. I wasn't thinking as much while saying that quote, but it wraps up my experience at Oberlin. I would rather suffer earlier so that I can make use of that experience and improve in the future. One more: when someone reminds me of other upcoming due-dates while I'm working on a homework or a project, I would say "Ok. One hell at a time."

Memorable Oberlin Moment

Studying with friends. Those all-nighter moments when we couldn't stop laughing because we were drunk on lack of sleep.

Graduation Date

05/25/2020

Future Plans

Work at an insurance firm located in Houston while studying to finish all my actuarial exams (probably have 7 more exams to go as of this writing).
