Violin

I major in violin and I am from a foreign country, and I feel growth each and every day during my time at Oberlin. I used to think that I knew so much, so much that I could look down to those who did not know. Oberlin taught me that there is always more to learn, and someone who does not know what I know would always know something that I do not know. Oberlin has given me the perfect space that has the perfect balance to enlarge my comfort zone without too much of pain. Taking over some important roles in the orchestra has especially showed me my potentials and shortness, and as much as I felt frustrated and heartbroken that I could not have my last and proper concert in Oberlin, I will always remember the very first time that I played on the stage in Finney Chapel. The rush and nerves were the most cherishable. Oberlin will always be a special place in my heart.
