I believe Ive changed over the course of college, I think at Oberlin I was able to both be myself in a way that I couldnt in high school but also change that core person inside me to become better over time. If I had to leave a message for my class I just want to say thank you for teaching me countless lessons, whether they were intentional or unintentional. Ive made mistakes, Im sure we all have, and I have done things I am not proud of. But without this community I dont know if I would have learned from my mistakes as much as I have. It is a community that is full of both kindness and accountability, both of which are extremely important qualities, and it has taught me so much. My experience at Oberlin was far from perfect, but if it was perfect then I wouldnt have grown, so I wouldnt trade this experience for anything.

Williams Field House. As a member of club soccer for all four years and a lifelong soccer lover, this is where I could forget about whatever stress or frustrations were plaguing me at any moment and I could just play the game I loved.

Samba. I had many classes where I learned a lot and I'm very grateful for all the classes I took but the sense of community this class fostered was unlike any other I took at Oberlin
