Im a Creative Writing major, and Ive loved dancing with Choreo for the past three years! I performed with Oberlins Samba School prior to that. Ive been so lucky to form communities around my interests, including teaching a Cryptozoology exco with my best friend, and DJing pop punk splitchers three times! Ive enjoyed welcoming new students to Oberlin as an employee in the Office of Admissions and as a PAL since the programs start. Im a huge lover of the beach and all things ocean-related, and during my time at Oberlin Ive come to love the sound of the wind in fall leaves, and the coziness of snow days too. My favorite things include strawberries, my dog Pinky, and extrapolating wildly about the existence of Bigfoot.

If youd asked me a year ago, I probably wouldve said the koi pond. But this past year my village house became my favorite place. Long live Halloween House <3

Ive got a soft spot for my first year seminar. Im so grateful to Professor Kirk Ormand and my classmates for making that space my first home on campus. But my favorite class ever was the Writers in the Schools Practicum with Lynn Powell, in which I got to design lesson plans and implement them in the classroom at Langston Middle School. Working with the kids and hearing them read their work in the Cat at the end of the semester was just so much fun!

DJing pop punk splitchers with my best friend and housemate Lucy! We attended the first Panic! at the Sco our freshman year and loved it so much we had to carry the tradition on. Weve done it for three years now, and absolutely loved it every time.
