About Me
My name is Maggie King and I am a senior majoring in Violin Performance under Professor Bernhardsson. While in Oberlin, I lived and dined in Harkness CO-OP for two years, collaborated with Welcome Nursing Home, performed in multiple orchestra/chamber/solo concerts, masterclasses with Tessa Lark and Jennifer Koh, ran many miles in the Arb, traveled to Panama and NYC for WT, ate too many Feve tots, and finally, met my best friends. Although I am so grateful for my overall experience in Oberlin, two things stick out as major highlights during my time there. The first being my lessons and studio classes with my amazing professor, Sibbi Bernhardsson. He is an incredible teacher and mentor, and I am so thankful I got to study with him for 3 years. The second would be rehearsals/concerts with the Acacia Quartet where I met my three best friends Andrew, Jessy and Christina.
