About Me
I have always known I wanted to major in science, but Oberlin has allowed me to truly explore my love of research while providing me with the opportunities I needed to blossom as a person. In extracurriculars, I was a member of the varsity softball team until my senior season was cut short by the pandemic. However, I will forever savor all the memories I have made with my teammates, and they will remain close friends for the rest of my life. Being at Oberlin, I was constantly surrounded by people willing to stand up and take action for causes they believed in, which motivated me to finally take action and become a Humane Society volunteer something Ive dreamed about for most of my life, but never gotten around to. As I go on to begin my Ph.D. in the Biomedical Sciences Training Program at Case Western in the Fall, I will carry with me the pride of being an Obie, and all the memories Ive made at Oberlin, especially with my team.
